Inspired by nostalgic memories of growing up, this felted wall hanging is made from pure merino wool that has been hand dyed using mostly natural pigments such as indigo, avocado, logwood, and turmeric. Small tufts of roving were laid out to create many thin, transparent layers to create a strong, opaque textile. This textural wall piece could be placed above a bed, a fire place, or be used to create a focal point in any room.
